17 Born to die

Like many Germans during the Third Reich, Ziert's family also suffered a major rift. So his uncle Karl* volunteered for the SS. His father was a communist. Karl fell at the age of 19 (“so hopefully he couldn’t do anything bad,” says Ziert).
Rolf dedicated a large-format work to his uncle as an impressive allegory on the subject of National Socialism and war.

Research into Karl's CV is in progress.
