This picture hangs as a permanent loan in the local museum "Altes Amt" at Cheruskerstraße in Bielefeld. A glassworks existed in Brackwede until the 1950s. The intersection Hauptst. / Arthur-Ladebeck-St. is popularly called the „glassworks crossing”. Here still are residential buildings in which once the glassblowers lived.
